Biocenter Finland user survey 2013
The first Biocenter Finland (BF) user survey was conducted in March 2013 in order to get information on the use and performance of BF technology platforms built up during the period of 2010–2012.
The survey results give BF Board and BF Scientific Advisory Board an indication of how the units are operating and how BF community has succeeded in building up the bioscience technology platform services (technology platforms are being evaluated in June 2013 by SAB).
At the same time the evaluations and written feedback received help units themselves in developing their services. Also, survey gave an opportunity to the bioscience/life science community to comment on the BF activities in general.
Building up and launching this first "all-inclusive" BF survey has been a learning process that can be refined into more specific, more informative and better targeted surveys by BF and its technology platforms in the future. Meanwhile, the same BF technology platform user survey is open for comments on the performance of technology platforms as well as BF feedback form is open for more general feedback.
