Tapio Visakorpi nominated as Biocenter Finland Chair of the Board
The Board of Biocenter Finland nominated Professor Tapio Visakorpi as Chair of the Board for the term 2018-2019. Tapio Visakorpi serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Life Sciences and as Professor of Cancer Genetics at the University of Tampere. See Biosketch for more information.
Academy Professor Seppo Ylä-Herttuala was nominated as Vice-Chair. He is the Director of Biocenter Kuopio and Professor of Molecular Medicine at the University of Eastern Finland.
