The Biocenter Finland Bioinformatics platform invites you for a webinar series to introduce the various types of bioinformatics services offered by the platform. The webinar series aims to provide insight into the technology employed and a deeper understanding of the purpose of a given technology and how it is used in research. Speaker: Professor Laura Elo is a group leader and a research director at the Turku Bioscience Centre hosted jointly by University of Turku and Åbo Akademi University. Laura’s research group develops novel statistical and machine learning methods and computational software tools for large-scale biomedical data.
